Every year around this time, I reflect on the year that is ending, and think about the year that will soon begin. I love the process of quietly celebrating all I accomplished in the year, and pondering what I learned from the year.
We’re working on things that I’ve known for the last five years I’ve needed to do. The two biggies are focusing on my larger clients (because I tend to treat everyone with equal time and energy), and developing relationships with centers of influence (such as estate planning attorneys). And I still wouldn’t be doing them if it weren’t for Brian. I wish I had started working
with Brian five years ago!
Working with Brian as my coach has helped me to determine what I really want, put action plans in place to get there, and establish milestones and metrics to charter my progress. Brian is a great guy, a level-headed person with a good heart, and someone you can trust. He helped me become independent so I could create and run a thriving, successful business!
With Brian’s support and coaching, I opened a thriving business, managed a team of 20+ employees, performed in the top 15% of our franchise, achieved several franchise awards, and sold the business to move into new, bigger endeavors!
Brian inspires and supports clients who are committed to improving performance and achieving greater success in their business and personal lives. His action-oriented, results-driven style of coaching empowers his clients to get from where they are to where they want to be.
Brian's clients have enjoyed considerable success in their business and/or personal life prior to hiring him, and all clients enter the relationship with a strong desire to take their lives "to the next level." Most of Brian's clients are executives, self-employed professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs. By developing success habits practiced by all high-performing men and women, these clients get more of the things they really want in life -- faster, easier and with greater predictability than before. Whether the area of focus is business, personal, or a combination of the two, Brian helps his clients to get very clear about what they are committed to, and then develop a plan to produce results that are consistent with that commitment.
Brian helps clients to dream bigger dreams, and to make each day a masterpiece. He encourages those he works with to step outside their comfort zone, pointing out that we cannot achieve significant breakthroughs in life until and unless we challenge our current way of thinking and doing.
Brian lives in southeastern Michigan. He and his wife, Heidi, have two dogs and a cat, and four adult children. Brian likes to read, write, travel and play squash, and he collects sports and celebrity memorabilia.
Life Lessons is a valuable addition to my success library at home. It is packed with good advice and illustrations that will educate and inspire readers of all ages.
If you want to achieve your potential fast, then get this book! Brian makes it easy with his unique blueprint for creating the life you want.
Brian Bartes’ masterpiece, Life Lessons: A Guide to Creating and Living Your Best Life, is a must-read for everyone. It is a refreshing reminder that work, vision, and execution still produce success even in challenging times. Life Lessons is a powerful resource that will help change your life.
Successful entrepreneurs in the 21st century devote enough time to their work so they can earn a living, and enough to non-working activities so they can enjoy their life. Brian Bartes is a top success coach who lives this philosophy himself, and helps his clients to do the same.

I read every day, and I like to recommend books that have helped me learn and grow. Below are my favorites from 2022. Take a look at the list, and consider reading them, if you haven’t already.
Whether the changes in your life are thrust upon you unexpectedly or you have initiated them, embrace them with trust that they are meant to be, and with confidence that they will inspire growth.
Choosing a single word as a theme provides purpose and meaning to your year, and will motivate you to orient your life around that theme. You can use your theme to guide your actions, your decisions, and your life.
